Golf coaching holidays
Time to play, space to improve, and a PGA Professional alongside you. A hosted golf holiday brings coaching into the week without turning your break into a training camp.
What makes a coaching holiday different?
Rather than separating lessons from playing, you can take what you practise onto the course during the same trip. Simon Buckley hosts the holidays and offers personal guidance suited to the golfer, with time for the destination and the company as well as the golf.
The format varies between trips. Read the schedule for the holiday you choose, rather than assuming every break includes the same number of lessons or rounds.
Meet Simon and his coaching approachHow coaching fits into the week
Corfu combines morning PGA coaching with four rounds at Corfu Golf Club and a day off to explore. The Bulgaria week pairs coaching with golf at Pirin, where six rounds are pre-booked for the group.
Par & Pamper takes a different approach: a retreat for women golfers at La Manga, combining Simon’s coaching with golf yoga led by Hellen Barlow, two rounds and time to unwind. Golf yoga is part of that retreat, not a standard inclusion on every holiday.
What is included, and what should you check?
The trip pages set out accommodation, board basis, golf, coaching and any included transfers. Bulgaria is a seven-night all-inclusive week at Pirin Golf Hotel and Spa; Par & Pamper is a four-night half-board retreat at Grand Hyatt La Manga Club; Corfu is a seven-night stay at the Philoxenia Hotel.
Before enquiring, compare the room options, flight arrangements, transfer conditions and extras on the individual page. Do not assume flights, single-room supplements or additional rounds are included. The published price breakdown and questions and answers are the place to check the details.
Travelling on your own or with a non-golfer
If you are thinking of joining alone, ask Simon about the group and room arrangements. Corfu also has a non-golfer package for partners and friends, with its own prices and inclusions. Ask about other trips individually; non-golfer packages are not advertised for every break.
